Changing Everyday!
Our little Savannah seems to do something new everyday. She has started to smile at us and is reaching out to touch things that catch her interest. She is very close to rolling over. When you place her on her back she will roll over to her side. I'm watching this closely and hope to capture it on video, so keep checking back! Here are some pictures we have taken recently... enjoy!

Incredible!
Last night Savannah was trying to Walk! At just six weeks old our beautiful baby girl was atempting to take her first steps! Andrea couldn't beleive what she saw and had to get a video of it. Of course, she is not able to stand on her own yet, but with alittle help from daddy holding her up her little legs were of to the races... Check it out!
Discovery!
Savannah is becoming more and more aware of her surroundings. Here is a video of her playing with her baby gym. She enjoys looking at the bright colors and is beginning to make progress towards grabbing at the toys.
Here is a cute shot of Sean and Savannah. He's such a good daddy!! Of course, Savannah is asleep during the day:)!

Savannah Goes To Wilmington
I had my very first trip out of town on Thursday and Friday. Daddy had to visit a client in Wilmington, so mommy and I tagged along. We went out to dinner Thursday night and watched Carolina win against Rutgers. On Friday, mommy and I did some shopping and visited with Daddy at his clients. We also went to lunch with Mommy's friend & sorority sister Cassie. I had a great trip! I did lots of sleeping in my car seat!

SO BIG!!!
Mommy took Savannah to the pediatrician today for a checkup... Guess what? Savannah has been growing by leaps and bounds. Just two weeks ago she weighed 8lbs, 2ozs today she wieghed in at a whopping 9lbs, 11ozs! The doctor said that her rapid growth could easily explain her constant hunger and continuous irritability, but then again there are always the angel moments just like the picture Sean took below.
Sleepless in Sharpe Land!
Little Miss Savannah is giving her parents a taste of the night life (not the kind we remember). Savannah is fussy from about 6pm until 11ish (or when we can get her to fall asleep) and nothing seems to make her happy. I understand from friends and from reading that this is normal. We refer to this as the "witching hours" in our house. However, she is having a hard time falling asleep. Last night we didn't get her to fully fall asleep until 1 am. This is becoming a nightly ritual. To top off the sleeplessness, Savannah still doesn't want to sleep in her cradle at night. Note... she will sleep in it for naps. I monitor her naps during the day and only allow her to sleep no longer than 2 hours during feedings. She is of course a bundle of joy and fun during the day. She loves to look around and play with her baby gym set. So if anyone has any suggestions or ideas for us, we would love to hear from you!
Here a few random pictures that I thought everyone would enjoy!

Happy 1 Month Birthday!
I celebrated my 1 month birthday on Saturday/6th by watching ECU beat WVU with my mommy. We cheered for our favorite football team while wearing our ECU gear. I plan to help daddy cheer during basketball season for his favorite team - Carolina! On Sunday, I got to meet Grandpa Sharpe. He drove from VA to visit me and of course I was asleep for some of the visit, but I did wake up long enough to meet him! What a great way to celebrate 1 month of life... meeting my Grandpa Sharpe and watching ECU win!
Me and Grandpa Sharpe. I am trying very hard to wake up in this picture. It's hard work being 1 month old!
Here's a picture of me and mommy watching the ECU football game. My onesie has a pirate on it...arghh!
Ok... did I mention that I am now losing my hair. It is receding in the front...daddy said this happened to him too. The difference is that mine is growing back and mommy thinks it will be much lighter than the black hair I was born with:)!

Labor Day Weekend
The Sharpe family celebrated the Labor Day weekend with doing as little Labor as possible. We stuck close to home and just enjoyed family life. Here are some pics from our labor free weekend.
We ended the weekend with our very first trip out to dinner with Savannah. We joined Grandpa and Nana Parham and Uncle Waylon, Aunt Robin & Cousin Noah for Mexican. Savannah did a great job.
Nanny, Nanny, Boo, Boo!
Helping Daddy get the boat ready for winter.
On the boat chillin' with Daddy!
Mommy can't drink since she is nursing, but that didn't stop Savannah from finding Daddy's boat stash! Ha! Sitting with Mommy and watching Daddy clean the boat.

Hanging out in her crib. She likes to look at all the colors. Notice the beautiful crib blanket - made by Grandma Sharpe:). Taking a cat nap after a ride with Daddy to the cell phone store. Sean jumped in the water with his phone in his pocket. He had to get a new one. Mommy was getting her nails done... yes... I did!
Savannah likes to sit in her boppy and look around at the lights and pictures in the house.
