Merry Christmas

A white Christmas in Raleigh this year. It started snowing Christmas Day night (very late) and continued snowing into the next day. We got about 6.5 inches of snow. Fun!

We had a wonderful Christmas. Savannah is really starting to understand Santa and the idea of giving gifts (& receiving them:0). She also has an understanding of the true meaning of Christmas too. In the picture above she is opening a gift from Uncle Terry & Aunt Dawn. A Little People Zoo...one of her favorites! We hope everyone has a merry Christmas and we wish you a Happy New Year from the Sharpes!

A Visit With Santa

Some of you may remember last years Christmas post, so you know this picture is a huge improvement! :) Savannah willingly sat on Santa's lap and believe it or not (you can't tell from her expression) she was very excited! She enjoyed her visit and was thrilled with sitting on his lap. The first thing she said, "Look at my dress". I guess she really is my daughter! Merry Christmas!

Savannah's First Big Show

Nana and Granddad took us to see "Toy Story" on ice. Savannah loved watching the lights, skating, and action! She was enthralled for most of the show and enjoyed herself thoroughly!

Fall, Fun, and Friends

It has been a while since I've posted, so there is lots to tell! We had a great Halloween. Savannah LOVED trick or treating. We dressed as witches and hit at least 10 houses. Our family enjoyed Thanksgiving and just being together. We all went to Nana's house and had a wonderful time!

Happy Halloween from witch #1, #2, and Dr. Love.

Fall Festival

We took Savannah to Hillridge Farms on Sunday with the rest of the family. She had a blast! Savannah, Noah, and Kylie rode ponies, took a hayride and a train ride. They were all very tired to say the least:).

Savannah and Noah were mad at us, but we managed to snap a picture anyway.

A family shot.

Running through the hay jump!

Yay. Fun!

Happy cousins on the train ride.

The Parhams (and Sharpes) Take Ocean Isle

We spent the weekend in Ocean Isle with my parents, brother and sister in law. Savannah had so much fun playing with Noah and Kylie. On the way home from the trip, I said "Savannah we are almost home, yay!" & She said, "No home, Noah's house!". How cute! We all had a great time. It is so nice to just hang out with your family.

Labor Day Weekend

Savannah and I are making the most of our weekend, since Sean is in El Paso helping his mom move. We are very excited for her, but we do miss having Sean around. Savannah and I went to the park on Sunday before the ECU game. Savannah is sporting her ECU sundress and purple bow...cutest kid at the park!

Breckenridge, Colorado

The Sharpe's are on a family vacation in Breckenridge, Colorado. We are enjoying the cool weather, however it has rained DAILY since we arrived. The rain hasn't stopped us from enjoying our vacation. I will post more once we return, but here are a few pictures to give you an idea about our trip.

Summer Antics!

Savannah has discovered that she LOVES the water. We have been fortunate enough to visit the beach two weekends in a row. The first weekend was in honor of Father's Day. The Sharpe's took off for Oak Island and stayed at the McMillan house. We had a blast! Here are few pictures from the weekend in Oak Island.

Savannah and daddy in the water. We couldn't keep her out!

Savannah and Mommy!

Getting a bath in the sink...so cute:0!

We took Sean out to eat at a great restaurant near the water. Savannah was so cute running around the grounds and "petting" the alligators.

Our second trip to the beach was just the girls. Savannah, mommy, and Nana. We went to Mrylte Beach to visit Phyllis and Clarence. We enjoyed ourselves emmensely and again Savannah couldn't stay out of the water!

We celebrated the fourth of July with family on Sunday. Uncle Waylon, Aunt Robin, Noah, Kylie, Nana and Granddad came over for a cook out. The kids enjoyed playing in the water and hanging out with each other. Here are some cute pics from the day.

"Posing" by the water table.

Savannah and Noah...best buds!

The sprinkler...another favorite!

Funny!

Savannah is talking and soaking up so much that we never know what she will do or say next. She decided to put on one of my bras and proudly pronounce "boobies"!

Family Pics

We took family pictures back in April. Savannah LOVES her cousins and this is evident with the way she squeezes poor Kylie to death! She is growing up so fast! Talking, running, climbing...she does it all!

Beautiful Weekend!

The weather this weekend was beautiful. Highs in the 70's, so you know what that means, lots of playing outside! On Sunday, we headed over to NC State Arboreteum for a professional photo shoot with the extended family. We should have those in a few weeks and will post them asap! Before we left, we were able to get some great shots of Savannah in her dress.

I love this picture of Savannah and her daddy. She is smiling so big!

A great picture for 2 reasons. (1) my baby is adorable! (2) She is posing with a Pirate flag...arghh!

Happy Easter

We had an Easter Egg Hunt at our house on Saturday. Savannah had a great time with her cousins and we enjoyed having family over on a such a great day!

Savannah decided to dress herself before her bath that night. She put the hat on first:).

Mommy Away For A Day

This post will really show my age, but oh well....
This Saturday, I went to ECU to celebrate 50 years of Sorority life on campus. The Delta Zeta house had a huge reception to show off the new renovations. I was there 91-95 and loved every minute of it!! It was great to see old friends and "stomping" grounds. I missed Savannah, but I knew she was in good hands with her daddy and Nana. Above is a picture of me and some house mates in our old room(my bunk was the one behind us:)

She played outside all weekend! The weather here in NC was close to 80 on Saturday and 70 on Sunday. She literally wakes up in the morning asking to go outside!

March Madness

Well not madness...but lots of toddler fun! Savannah caught another virus from daycare last week, but she handled it like a trooper. We could hardly tell she didn't feel well. I celebrated my 21st birthday Thursday and of course Savannah and Sean helped me celebrate right! Savannah is talking quite a bit these days. A few of the words she will say are: mommy, daddy, no (she loves this one), wawa (water), ribbit (frog), nana (could be nana or bananna), juice, down, up, feet (usually in response to removing her shoes and socks in the car), walk (when she wants out of the stroller), baby. She also has started putting two words together like "my mommy" or "my daddy". Toddlerhood... is never boring!

We went out for an adult dinner Saturday night with our friends Kristy & Bryan. Nana and Grandad stayed with Savannah. This is a picture of the 3 of us before we left.
My birthday flowers from Sean's mom. They are so bright and pretty!
