Busy Girl

Savannah has been a very busy little girl. I've posted several pictures from the last few months in order to give you all an idea of what Savanah has been up to!

I've been tracked out the last few weeks and have enjoyed my time with Savannah so much! We went to the beach last weekend as a family and enjoyed wonderful weather. Savannah absolutely loves the sand and water. We couldn't keep her out of the ocean:)!
During our track out, Savannah and I went with Wilson and Alston to the Life and Science Museum. Wilson is 1 month older than Savannah and lives 2 doors down from us. They are the best of friends!

Easter family portrait in our backyard. Can you tell Savannah is saying "cheese"?

Checking out her Easter loot!

Getting some Easter egg hunting pointers from daddy.

Savannah and Noah...great cousins...awesome friends!

Enjoying a popcycle at Aunt Robins and Uncle Waylons house. This same night, Savannah woke up with her 4th fever in 5 months. The last fever was in April and it typically lasts for 4 days with 101 degrees or more. The pediatrician continues to feel that this is normal childhood viruses. We certainly hope to see no more of these fevers for a LONG time!

Traveling in style!

Our very silly, sweet little girl!

We were thrilled to have Grandma Sharpe and Aunt Sherrin visit in Feb. Savannah has a fever over the weekend of their visit and took a while to warm up to her company. Aunt Sherrin and Savannah decided to have some fun under the table:)!

Easter Bunny

Savannah visited with the Easter Bunny this week. She walked right up to him/her and said, "hi Easter Bunny." So cute! I was proud of her since I think the bunny is on the creepy side:)!

Our Little Gymnast

I know it has been a while since I last updated everyone on Savannah and I'm so sorry to keep you waiting:! She has started gymnastics and LOVES going every Saturday! She is working on jumping across the trampoline, flipping on the bar, and has almost perfected a forward roll. We are so proud of her! On a sidenote...she looks so dang cute in her leotard:)! In the video, Savannah is working on using two feet together to jump across the trampoline. Mr. Cory, her teacher, is encouraging her along.

My Favorite Things

Here are a few of Savannah's favorite things in life. The life of a 2 year old is so rewarding!

Hanging out with her cousins!
Watching cartoons with her daddy.
Riding her tricycle. So cute!
Cooking guacamole for mommy and daddy!

Our COOL princess. She LOVES her princess dress up clothes that Santa brought. I thought it was hilarious when she threw on the sunglasses. Too cute!

Merry Christmas

A white Christmas in Raleigh this year. It started snowing Christmas Day night (very late) and continued snowing into the next day. We got about 6.5 inches of snow. Fun!

We had a wonderful Christmas. Savannah is really starting to understand Santa and the idea of giving gifts (& receiving them:0). She also has an understanding of the true meaning of Christmas too. In the picture above she is opening a gift from Uncle Terry & Aunt Dawn. A Little People Zoo...one of her favorites! We hope everyone has a merry Christmas and we wish you a Happy New Year from the Sharpes!

A Visit With Santa

Some of you may remember last years Christmas post, so you know this picture is a huge improvement! :) Savannah willingly sat on Santa's lap and believe it or not (you can't tell from her expression) she was very excited! She enjoyed her visit and was thrilled with sitting on his lap. The first thing she said, "Look at my dress". I guess she really is my daughter! Merry Christmas!
