Savannah Goes To Myrtle Beach

This weekend we took a trip to Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. We went with Nana and Grandpa Parham, Uncle Waylon & Aunt Robin & Cousin Noah. This was a fun trip. We got to visit with Phyllis and Clarence, who are mommy's 4th cousins, but are like an aunt and uncle to me. They are truely special people and I'm so glad they love me like they do!!! Mommy and Daddy took a ton of pictures on the trip and mommy has included pictures from different occasions, b/c she knows that is why most of you check this blog anyway:)!!

Me and Mommy on the beach Cousin Phyllis and me...I was feeling very TIRED from my 2 month shots the day before. I slept a lot of my visit on Saturday.

Me, daddy, Aunt Robin, Uncle Waylon, and Cousin Noah at the restrauntI started to feel better late Saturday afternoon. I was really trying to pull up, because I really want to sit up and look around. Aunt Robin and mommy decided to help me out with two boppies. We had fun playing on the floor!

As promised (see below) here are pictures of Savannah smiling. She is 2 months old today! It seems like yesterday that we were meeting her for the first time:)!

Date Night

Mommy and Daddy had their very first date night since my birth on Saturday. Nana and Grandpa Parham came over and they babysat me while mommy and daddy went to dinner. They went to Ruth Chris Steakhouse to celebrate daddy's 39th birthday on Wed/8. I had a good time with Nana and Grandpa. They played with me, fed me, and gave me a bath. Grandpa got some good pictures of me smiling(I'll post these as soon as I have a copy)! The evening ended great for daddy because UNC beat UCONN! Go Heels (daddy made me say that)!

Changing Everyday!

Our little Savannah seems to do something new everyday. She has started to smile at us and is reaching out to touch things that catch her interest. She is very close to rolling over. When you place her on her back she will roll over to her side. I'm watching this closely and hope to capture it on video, so keep checking back! Last night Savannah was trying to Walk! At just six weeks old our beautiful baby girl was atempting to take her first steps! Andrea couldn't beleive what she saw and had to get a video of it. Of course, she is not able to stand on her own yet, but with alittle help from daddy holding her up her little legs were of to the races... Check it out!

Discovery!

Savannah is becoming more and more aware of her surroundings. Here is a video of her playing with her baby gym. She enjoys looking at the bright colors and is beginning to make progress towards grabbing at the toys.
